Science-Based Strategies for Environmental Decision-Making
At Lucent EcoAnalytics, we provide science-based ecological consulting focused on technical writing and editing, GIS and data analysis, and camera trap studies. We bring trusted technical expertise and extra project capacity to teams that need it.
Our background
Lucent EcoAnalytics brings a wildlife and conservation science background to the documents, data, and field studies that environmental decisions depend on.
Our experience with threatened, endangered, and at-risk species shapes how we review and write. We know what reviewers look for in Endangered Species Act documents, how effects need to be analyzed and documented, and how survey design affects the strength of the evidence. We apply that to technical review and editing, rare invertebrate and pollinator surveys, and camera trap studies.
We keep our methods current through ongoing research in ecology, working with occupancy modeling, distance sampling, hierarchical modeling, species distribution modeling, and camera trap occupancy studies. We pair that with GIS and spatial analysis, so your data moves from the field to maps, models, and defensible written findings.
As a small firm, you work directly with the people doing the work.
